Paper Wasp on Stucco

This is a paper wasp resting on the outside of my house. Paper wasps are supposedly mild mannered, which I guess explains why I was able to get a decent picture without getting stung. I did a little research, and apparently this handsome little critter didn't even live in the US prior to 1981. They seem to have made themselves at home around here though. I've removed quite a few of their nests from my property over the last few years.
